JOB TITLE:  Student Success Coach (2 months temp. to perm. - 1 month of extensive training & 1 month of extensive observation - hired upon successful completion)

SUMMARY: Publishing Life is seeking PA & AIA Coach Trainees to join our Coaching Team.  To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to build student trust through mentoring and guidance in a support role.  We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and as passionate as we are about student success. 

All PA & AIA Coaches will complete training by their Team Leader to ensure quality and consistency among coaches.  As a PA & AIA Coach in our company, your responsibilities would be to coach our students along their educational journey by providing answers to publishing questions submitted by PA & AIA students as a member of an “on demand” coaching team to deliver an exceptional student experience.  Our ideal candidate is an individual who is passionate and enthusiastic about delivering excellent coaching support through interacting with our students.  Our coaches are responsible for student success.  Our expectations are set very high.  Student success is our #1 focus and that’s why we have so much of it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:   


  • Supporting students in our Publishing Accelerator& Audiobook Income Academy programs while conveying our company image, brand voice and positive personality. 
  • Playing a vital role in not only recommending updates or improvements but also being available for creating course material and student resources.
  • Working closely with students and building rapport with them as you offer your guidance to help them succeed.  
  • Committed to helping students get results and remove roadblocks they may hit along the way.  
  • Having the ability and confidence to have difficult conversations with students who take feedback negatively and become defensive.
  • Assisting students with setting their publishing career goals.
  • Help students improve their habits and improve their skills to ensure their success.
  • Analyzing data and tracking student progress towards goals.  
  • Connecting students with other resources, as needed.
  • Following up with students after their coaching call conversations to ensure they are taking action on what was discussed and holding them accountable.
  • Actively attend and participate in team meetings.
  • Document calls and student progress inside our CRM (HubSpot).
  • Ability to communicate clearly and explain concepts related to the program through recorded videos and screen shares.
  • Work closely with support and onboarding teams to better ensure student success
  • And other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


    • Must share Publishing Life’s Core Values.
    • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as our students are from all over the world and from various backgrounds.
    • Must be able to perform coaching responsibilities with little supervision.
    • Must have genuine concern and passion for contributing to the success of Publishing Life and the students.
    • Must excel at multitasking and time management.
    • Must have previous experience as a coach or consultant or customer support role.
    • Preference will be given to candidates that are members of Audiobook Income Academy and have published at least one book.
    • Experience using support ticketing systems such as Zendesk, HubSpot, Help Scout preferred
    • Must have access to a laptop or computer with a reliable internet connection. 
    • Experience using Zoom, Loom, Calendly, and Slack preferred. 
    • Experience with a CRM or HubSpot preferred.
